The school breakfast and lunch meals are planned by Dekalb County. Elementary school menus are published every two weeks and are usually available a few days before the start of the menu period.
Please review with your child the “Chesnut School Lunch Choices” infographic (also posted in the cafeteria), to understand what is included in school lunch: green checked items must be chosen, yellow items and milk are optional and included. The graphic shows two possible lunch trays, the first with a main entrée, and the second with the alternate “Grab N’ Go” Salad. Additional fees are only charged for purchasing two of the same lunch item, or à la carte items (i.e., bottled water, ice cream, healthy snack display items).

Parents can pre-pay online into a lunch account for their student using MySchoolBucks.com. You will need to have your child’s Student ID number, and this is the same number the student will use to get hot lunch at the school.
